Krzysztof Stachyra, PhD, a music therapist and a music teacher. Assistant professor at The Department of Music Therapy and Music Education at Maria Curie Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland. He is an author of Polish Publications Supporting Music Therapy for Children (2001); Music Therapy and Music Imagery in the Development of Emotional Competence (2009); also co-author of Music and Art Therapy in Polish Language Publications (2007). Currently he is a President of The Polish Association for Therapy Through Arts. He also works as a Co-editor for Voices: A World Forum for Music Therapy (www.voices.no). Dr. Krzysztof Stachyra clinical experience has been with psychiatric adults and children with mental disabilities. He participates in advance training in Guided Imagery and Music (GIM).
Olga Handford, MA, art therapists (UK registered), psychologists, PhD student at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Author and co-author of several publication about art therapy and creative development: Fairy Tale in Art Therapy and Creative Devemopment (2007), Play (with) Objects in Art Therapy and Creative Development (2008), Portraits and Masks in Art Therapy and Creative Development (2009), all published in Poland by WSHE. Currently a member of The Polish Association of Therapy though Arts . Olga Handford’s practical experience has been with several groups of clients, abused women, unemployed women, personality developmental groups and community arts projects.
